I always found this class pretty confusing, because Magnolia is using this class as a central configuration point, but this is not related to the System.properties ("jvm properties"). The fact that actual jvm properties are loaded in there, and that the are some very rare case of actual jvm properties usage makes it all even more confusing. We should rename the class to something like MagnoliaProperties or MagnoliaConfiguration. |

Given the thousands of other issues we have open that are more highly requested, we won't be able to address this issue in the foreseeable future. Instead we will focus on issues with a higher impact, and more votes. |
