1 ) I created a dialog for a paragraph that has a text control (named title) and a file control (named document) on it. 2) I bring up the dialog, enter text and select a file and press Save Text saves just fine but file won't save. Tried restarting Magnolia but no change and no errors shown. |

Wasn't able to reproduce (tested with samples) Can you test with samples as well? Could you please attach the exported dialog and paragraph to this issue? |

Man do I feel like an idiot. Yeah, it works fine, I just had the type set to String instead of Binary, which sends the SaveHandlerImpl off in a totally different direction so it doesn't see there is a problem and doesn't bother throwing an error. Of course the obvious response on my part now is to make some sort of attempt at not looking like an idiot by placing the blame on the admin interface and that it would even allow me to set the type to String for a file control is a problem, but you guys have done great work on this and I am grateful for what I'm getting for free out of this product. That said, I wish I had some time to implement some ideas I have on improving AdminCentral. Please go ahead and close this issue, sorry for the mistake, I promise in the future I'll reference the samples every time before I post an issue |
