It would be very handy if the update status page was available when the automatic updating is enabled. |

Do you mean having somewhere a page that sums what happened during the last startup, basically ? (an update report if there was any, etc) If so, that would anyway be handy even when the automatic update disabled. Along with this, we need a status page for modules, so I'm going to link this to the issue related to updating/improving the config info page. |

When we use manual updating, we can leave our browser on the status page and it will tell us how far we are into the update ("64 of 144 files"). When I set the property to automatically update, that status page was not available. The request was to have the status page available whenever the site is going through it's update. Given the thousands of other issues we have open that are more highly requested, we won't be able to address this issue in the foreseeable future. Instead we will focus on issues with a higher impact, and more votes. |
