Hi Guys An improvement to the editBar taglibs that we would find very useful would be: 1. the ability to make displaying the 'move' and 'delete' buttons optional. The scenario is that we wish to give non-technical business users control of their own small section of the corporate home page. We do not want these users to be able to move/delete content or to be able to edit a different business users content. I have tried to download the source code to see how easy this will be, I have posted a bug as the file appears to be corrupted. Great product. Many Thanks |

1. )Check tha taglib documentation 2) no problem to wrap the edit bar into a small piece of java code to not display it unless whatever is true. I'll close this issue as 2) is I believe too specific to warrant a change in edit bar logic, but please reopen if you think otherwise. Maybe a tag that renders its content based on a generic premission/role/... as an extension to the adminOnly. |
