Magnolia 2.0 currently uses an alpha version of the Jakarta Commons HttpClient library. I suggest to upgrade to a current version: version 2.0 final has been out now for quite some time, and features a wealth of improvements over the alpha versions. Use version 2.02; the API changes - if you encounter any - should be minimal. The company I'm working for, NOSE, is an active contributor to the httpclient project. If you need assistance, please let us know. We've also noticed that the version of slide you're using is quite old. It references a class in the Jakarta Commons HttpClient package, which was removed in 2001 (ConnectionInterceptor). Thus, I also suggest you upgrade to the 2.x version of Slide. As I don't know the implications of this step, nor what Slide is used for in magnolia, I've not opened a separate issue for this (it might be an unimportant side track). |

these libraries are only used in webDAV client browser , so it should be trivial to upgrade these. |
