 Description

We just got to see a very strange system behaviour:

If we activate a page from Author (Windows) to our Publishing system (Linux) - Linebreaks in "Edit" Fields (textarea) get lost. The Linebreaks do only get lost, if the versioning is done before activation - in the admininterface CommandChain. Please look at screenshot_1: "doesnt_work".
We are using MySQL for Persistence.

Strange I: if we activate the page via JCR Browser the Linebreaks survive the Activation-Process. Everything is OK.

Strange II: We ain't got a problem if we just put the versioning after the "activation". Please look at screenshot_2: "works"

We had to insert the "activate" node in the "website - activation" CommanChain, because we wanted to keep the possibility to use the WF Module.
I hope this way of configuration doesn't cause the error.

There have been bunch of issues solved in JCR related to line break handling between versions used in Magnolia 3.5 and 4.0. Do you still have this issue in 4.x?
