I can reproduce it while working on other issues, I login to the application, serve some pages and while starting/stoping the server and after some time has passed i get the missing images, more often in safari that is the browser I use less. I think the image expires in the browser cache and the application does not notice and does not send them again. |

The best scenario to reproduce was:
Fixed in r18331 on trunk and in r18332 on 3.6 branch. |
