Once you go through install and register, and enter the registration key, the user is "dumped" into the standard samples homepage. This is quite a break in user experience, because until then there is a nice updater screen, then a registration screen. All of a sudden the nice user experience is over and it is unclear why the information one sees is being displayed. I suggest that after successful registration, a welcome page is displayed that tells the user that the registration has been successful and that he can now proceed to visit the "default" homepage of the sample installation (or the authoring env, depending on instance). |
