In the admin GUI, change the template of an already activated page. Although the template is actually change, the activation icon stays green! If you refresh the admin GUI, the activation icons changes to yellow. It looks like you should refresh the GUI once a template has been changed. This is irritating to the user and leads to an atmosphere of mistrust towards the tool. This is why I marked this bug a "major". |

Since templates are "external" to the magnolia GUI this works as designed - a change of a template is not a change of content - its a different concept. The template only determines how stuff is rendered, and it should be possible at any time to change the templates without affecting the status of the content. |

Original description misunderstood. Activation state should be updated as soon as one selects a different template for a page. — 8< ---- Here is what I do:
The activation state remains "green". If I refresh the view, the Since everything which is "green" is published and thus has not been |

Activation state actually changes, only th GUI is not refreshed. If you click refresh, you will see that the state button changes from green to yellow. |
