When editing an exiting text of a textImage paragraph then some spaces are randomly dropped. An attempt to fix is is mostly futile and can result in more spaces being dropped. OS: Windows 2000 This problem seems to be related to usage of Firefox because it does not appear in IE 6.0 and helped me to fix the problem. -Andy |

same Issue here with Mac OS X and Firefox 1.0 But the misssing Whitespaces do not seem to be dropped randomly because if i delete the content and paste it in again, they are at the same places again. |

I also have this problem with Firefox 1.0 on Mac OS X (10.3.8). Since Safari and IE on the Mac aren't viable options either, I needed a quick fix. Using the FCK Editor in Basic mode seems to work and so far, I haven't seen any whitespace issues. But...the FCK Editor currently (2.0RC3) has a glitch with copying and pasting in Default mode (https://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1241793&forum_id=379487), so that's not a complete solution (yet). Basic mode works fine for me for now. |

The following patch does fix this problem on the 2.02 branch. Fix by Christian Menzel, given to me on one of the lists (sorry, can't remember if it was dev or user): Index: C:/Projects/Magnolia_2_02_Branch/src/main/info/magnolia/cms/gui/control/Save.java public String getRichEditValueStr(String valueStr) { |

Ooops, sorry. I missed one important change. The point is you have to make sure that new line characters are replaced by spaces. Here's is the good patch: Index: C:/Projects/Magnolia_2_02_Branch/src/main/info/magnolia/cms/gui/control/Save.java public String getRichEditValueStr(String valueStr) {
