 Description

Jackrabbit 1.6 is out, with several improvements (and an updated lucene version).
The transition is smooth, it doesn't require any change to existing code, configuration, repositories or indexes.
What about dropping this into 4.1.1?

Hm, according to the base rules we are not able to update a library (except bugfix releases) unless we change the magnolia version. I remember an internal discussion about that topic but can't remember the outcome.

When ever we decided otherwise it was to often not for the good But I put that on the agenda.

We'll need to look into the Jackrabbit migration tools, specifically if we want existing users to be able to use the DataStore (which we introduced in the default Jackrabbit configuration files with 4.1.1)

pom updated; now we need to test, and possibly investigate on the DataStore migration.
