| Description |
|
It currently links to http://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/userguide/templating.html, while the doc has moved to http://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/templating-guide.html While we currently have a VirtualURIs on the docu site that redirects to the correct page, it would seem simpler to have a more "stable" url, such as http://templating.magnolia-cms.com, so that we don't have to add VirtualURIs everytime we change the location of this documentation. If we have an "unstable" url such as the current one in the sources of Magnolia, 1) we need to make sure the URLs that were in each and every version ever released is maintained, 2) we still need to go and correct it when it changes. If on the other hand we use a more stable url such as http://templating.magnolia-cms.com, we have an ever-valid link (no need to touch the sources) and one single redirect to maintain. |
