 Description

It seems that we regularly get calls from people who can't login in their instance, and call us, since the phone number and opening do sound like an invitation to call.

Here's my suggestion:

  • remove address and phone number
  • perhaps even remove info@ email link
  • keep! copyright notice and link to our corp website
  • add an optional line for service provider contact, i.e:
    • in magnolia.properties, add a new property, for ex magnolia.service.contact ? (todo: find better name)
    • if that property is defined, display it in the login form, for instance. Make sure to filter html out of it, to avoid breaking layout ? (although some level of styling would be appreciated)

(the idea being to redirect users who can't login to their service provider (internal it, web agency, ...) instead of our office hq

Also: as far as I can tell, the login form is the only place where our office phone and address is displayed. If anything, it would be more relevant in the footer of admincentral ? Or in a yet-to-be-invented "about" page.

The phone number, address and email was also present on the license registration page. I have removed it from there as well.

The property is magnolia.service.contact. It's been added to magnolia.properties and left commented out. Html is escaped, no formatting is supported.

BTW office address and phone number are also part of the sample contact in demo-project ... but I guess that one is harmless.
