| Description |

If you start a move operation using the "move" icon, you may abort the move by clicking anywhere outside the currently focused area. You should also be able to abort a move by hitting the ESC key. During the user tests, clicking outside proved to be very intuitive to some users. Other users simply forgot about this feature again. The more proficient users consistently attempted to abort the move by hitting ESC, however. I realize that hitting ESC already toggles between the preview and the edit view. I'm not asking to turn this off, as it worked well during the tests, but I suggest that during a move, ESC aborts the move, else it toggles the edit view. |
