Im not so sure, in the mockups there's no delete button, its only available in the toolbox.

Andreas, input?

The state right now is, that after adding a component no button shows up anymore. Not even the edit button.

About the delete button:
Out of my view this is mandatory, cause after adding a paragraph you need to be able to remove it again. if you can choose between different paragraphs for one single area, you need to be able to delete one and add another one.

OK, I think its not decided yet, if the bars should ever serve this buttons, cause they can be used on the right side 'command' widget. Its more of a usability question.

We'll only leave the typical edit main actions on the bars (add, edit) and move the secondary (move) and delicate ones (delete) to the toolbox in the sidebar. This helps to unclutter the bar and improves orientation.

Agreed
