no java (and jstl) need them stored in the this silly format. you can use to convert them all (it creates a utf8 directory) see: http://www.magnolia.info/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=EncodingpropertyFiles |

Are you sure about that? Wouldn't the system property -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 help? I'm not sure, though. I thought for the sake of consistency that might be a good idea. |

I was not able to do so. If you are, please tell me how. I tryed to pass the property in the jre configuration and i manipulated the ConfigLoader: no effect |
