There is a follow up problem here: |

FixIn fckeditor.js (part of magnolia-module-fckeditor), replace var sBrowserVersion = navigator.appVersion.match(/MSIE (.\..)/)[1] ;
with var sBrowserVersion = navigator.appVersion.match(/MSIE ([\d.]+)/)[1] ;
The problem is that browser detection assumes a 1-digit IE version number, as explained here: http://kartiksehgal.wordpress.com/2012/11/16/fckeditor-bug-fix-for-ie10/. |

Are our customers the only ones using IE?! Sorry for being a bit frustrated, but I cannot understand how this can only be "neutral" and not fixed for almost a year now. Attaching a patch now. |

Hi Will, imho you could try to use ckeditor module (which is a replacement for archaic fckeditor 2.6.6). This might help to avoid future issues with IE and other browsers as it uses CKEditor v4.3.1. HTH, |

Thanks for the tip. If the ckeditor module fixes these problems, I'd suggest you deliver it as standard with Magnolia. Or are there other issues that keep you from doing so? Cheers, |
