Now 2.10.1.
While I'm at it, here's one more (from 2.9) on the wishlist, while going through MAGNOLIA-6333:

[JCR-3797] Add path exclusion to JackrabbitEventFilter

PS: looks like we haven't even upgraded to 2.8.1 either.

EDIT: Nevermind, here's what we get when using it:

WARN jackrabbit.core.observation.ObservationManagerImpl: JackrabbitEventFilter excludedPaths is not implemented and will be ignored

We plan on upgrading our Magnolia 5.4.x project to Jackrabbit 2.10, because of the sizeEstimate feature introduced in https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCR-3858

Enabling this feature allows us to reduce render times for overview pages in trees with tens of thousands of pages from 10-60+ seconds to ~1 second. I don't know if it makes sense for Magnolia to use this feature by default, but I'm sure happy we found this for our use cases.

More info about this in my talk at the conference: https://conference.magnolia-cms.com/2016/basel/program/vpro.html

Hey Nils,

good to know.
Thanks for sharing the info.
I think we might want to enable this on 5.5 by default too, but of course it will need to be tested for possible side effects.
