Sadly, the default bundle as it's shipped doesn't perform all that well anymore without our current Xmx=512M setting. There seem to be a strong increase in memory usage when generating thumbnails for the demo content (e.g with 2 ee-webapps running, opening the dam app's thumbnails view quickly reaches memory limits) There are certainly possible improvements and proper investigation needs to be happen, but with the 5.4 release looming, we should simply increase the default Xmx we ship the bundle with for now. Please link any follow-up performance/memory usage investigation issues. |
