 Description

Hi Mgnls,

some of the standard app translations are missing in the german version. Our customer will use locale "de" for content editing. See screenshot. Also in the not visible trees (wev dev etc.) translations are missing.
We set fallbackLocale and fallbackLanguage to "de" in the system/i18n tree.

Regards
Sigurd

MGNLUI-3477 partially fixes this issue for 5.4.1/5.3.10 - however modules not inside of the magnolia_ui project are still missing those translations (personalization, dam, categorization,..)

found a little typo in the JCR-browser, see screenshot

"duplizieren" would be correct.

after upgrading to 5.4.1 there are german app translations, but user has language english.

sigurd.rolfes Not sure I understand the last comment correctly. Are you saying that you see german translations even when you selected language for user as english and logged out/in?

Comment by Sigurd Rolfes [ 24/Aug/15 ]

Hi Jan,

yes. At least it's a fresh clean install, I log in with superuser which has english language configured and I see the german translations of some apps.

As you can see in the screenshot some of the apps appear in english, some in german.

Sigurd

That is strange. My local installation nor the online demo exhibit same problem. Can you please attach listing of your WEB-INF/lib folder?
In 5.4.1, languages have been extracted from the modules provided by Magnolia into language bundles (one file per locale) so maybe depending on how you are putting webapp together something is amiss.
