Hello Team, Hope you are doing well. We are trying to assess Magnolia as choice of platform for one of our clients. For scoping our project we need good understanding of the product. Thus we have downloaded the trial version of the Magnolia CMS. For our client personalization is a huge priority and lots of emphasize is being given on that module. In order to know how much we could do in terms of personalization we are trying to set up magnolia demo codebase in our local. Now we are not able to find any proper documentation on how we could setup the downloaded codebase and deploy that to a tomcat server locally. I would like to request you to please guide us for doing the local setup of magnolia with the downloaded demo codebase(We know that there is deployed version with tomcat available to download but we wanted to change the code locally to do a proper POC before client presentation). Also what I understand form the documentation available in the website without nexus repository login we won’t be able to setup the enterprise version. So we were wondering if you could help us with this? Warm Regards, P.S : Kept the priority as blocker as this is really blocking us from proceeding any further. |

Hi Tuhin, I'm very happy that you use Magnolia and have decided to spread to new clients the joy that comes from using the Magnolia platform! If you are a partner or client with a Services or Support package, I ask that you please re-submit this request through those usual channels. If not, you will normally get faster answers through the Magnolia forums. Warm Regards, |
