 Description   

Currently customer can not know that an account was blocked by system and cannot show it to end user due to missing support from core authentication process.

I would like to find solution, where I get info: "User account is locked" only if user put valid login/pass, but is blocked. In other cases: "Your login or pass is invalid".

Would be useful if a clear and configurable, i18n supported messages for this.
Also we don't have any information about "lockTimePeriod" from Users documentation, please fill in with some guidelines.
Missing function in JCRAuthenticationModule is an example.
