I would like to see a content type that was "Re-use existing content", with content entries selectable from a list. That way I could re-use compatible content across multiple pages without having to re-type and maintain in two places. In particular, content that had "compatible" attributes should be presented. For example, I may have a "news story" type containing Headline, Excerpt, Body, Image and a "news summary" type which could reuse Headline, excerpt and Image but which does not use Body. These should always remain the same entity, so that changes to the summary headline one are reflected in the story headline. |

In a similar vein, I also need to be able to add "teasers", which contain compatible content from other parts of the site. With full access to the repository, this should all be possible either within the jsp (using existing tags) or within a new tag, so I may take a look at this. |

Instead of defining a new content type it is better to create a corresponding template or paragraph to display content stored on a different page. |

You are free to reuse paragraph content anywhere |
