 Description

Trying to restore a previous version of a page leads to a class incompatible error. I initially got this error on the info.magnolia.cms.util.Rule class, but after fixing the serialVersionUID i get the same problem on ArrayList, probably Rule.allowedTypes.
We should try removing Collections and using arrays.

Proposed change.
Philipp, Sameer, could you look if this change could go for b1? Where is the serialized Rule class stored in the repo?

Comment by Sameer Charles [ 10/May/06 ]

rule is only used by activation and versioning at the moment, there should not be any serialized rule in the repository unless you have old
versions.
Its safe to update for 3.0 Beta

patch committed, it solved the problem for me.
