Currently it's not possible to export (and import) Users, Groups and Roles. When doing User-Management locally on a Notebook, it's very annoying to have to redo all the entries on the final staging server. A feature to export Groups, Users and Roles would be very useful. |

IIRC the import/export servlets allow export of any repository |

Even if not possible in the GUI (won't add it) you can use the import & export servlet to do so. We added a shortcut in the 'Tools' menupoint. As an other possibility you will like to try the developement util (also found under Tools). |

Sorry, Boris, forgot to mention that this in the WCM GUI. You are right, you can export/import any part of the repository, but the Magnolia WCM GUI does not offer the export/import functionality for module roots like in Groups, Roles and Users. |

Yet another option is to use the deployment manager delivered with the enterprise edition - it allows you to define arbitrary packages and import / export them as a single entity, which comes in quite handy |

Sorry, completely missed this fascinating tool. Even a JCR Browser is there! |
