The spool servlet should not be needed: there is now a "bypass" property in the filter definition in web.xml which specify a list of path that should not be blocked by CmsFilter. |

I'm aware of all that, I'm actually trying this on the latest trunk without any changes made to it I'll try with the fresh download from svn |

the problem with log folder was resolved after fresh download from svn, but the spool problem still remains Thanks |

no, it should work (mail, import, export are untouched at the moment!), I'll try with a clean copy |

pages stated by stojan does not work, the log folder creation is more or less random ... we have a clean automated build of magnolia everyday. Maybe I should make it available to the magnolia dev team... |

I finally found out what was wrong: it was working properly but only if the magnolia instance was bound to the root context, bypassed urls were not evaluated properly with a context path. |
