 Description

We have a couple of documents, which are sized between 100MB and 500MB. Activation is not possible, so we try to export/import. Exporting seems to work, but we can not import documents larger than 160 or 200MB.

  • In the DMS create a couple of folders and documents and upload large documents (total size of all documents should exceed 200MB)
  • Export documents
---> Export will take 5 to 10 minutes, and xml file looks ok.
  • Go to other instance
  • In DMS import xml file
---> It will take forever and the documents will never be imported

its not only in DMS, problem is that we use JCR export import with embedded binary.
We should fix it asap

tested successfully with 1gb documents, Export is must faster and less memory hungary If you do not use XML formatting.
Since we are dependent on JCR implementation to export and import we cannot do much here.
