| Description |

Folders containing categories are displayed in the public instance as tags and related categories. Folders should not be displayed in the public instance. If an article is tagged with a category folder (by selecting it as a related category), the folder is displayed in the article's categories (not the categories in the folder). The folder's contained categories should be displayed in the article's categories instead of the folder. If the category overview for a category in a folder is displayed, the folder containing the category is included in the category's related categories list. The category's siblings in the folder are not displayed. The folder should not be included and the category's siblings should be included in the category's overview. |

SUzanne, if this is meant to be a bug report you should state what the expected behavior is. |

Given the thousands of other issues we have open that are more highly requested, we won't be able to address this issue in the foreseeable future. Instead we will focus on issues with a higher impact, and more votes. |
