 Description

For certain images, white background turns red when those images are rendered from the DAM (preview or on a page). In the editor all the colors show properly.

I experienced it for several jpg pictures - one of them is attached.

Maybe this not related to Magnolia at all - see attached file test-file.jpg. It's preview is rendered with red background in JIRA already - when showing it's full size its fine...

Very nice colour. What shade of pink is it? Salmon maybe?

I'd bet that problem here is the colour space conversion in some op that doesn't happen in preview, but happens during real conversion.

attached same file (test-file-2.jpg) after conversion JPG->PNG->JPG without any additional operations. Problem is gone. Comparing the two files should give us idea what's wrong.

lowering prio as it's not really a magnolia issue and there's a workaround - still it would be cool if we could handle it automatically...
