 Description

The editor can not distinguish between the different file-types - there is no way to see if an item is an image, a PDF or a video? This is a no-go in terms of usability.

We need a filetype column. Please see attached image.

This is essential for the Airbus Group relaunch project.

We discussed this and believe, that showing a mere column indicating the file type (asset type and/or format) should be feasible and doable during maintenance.

See screen shot for the implemented solution:
The definition allows to define if we want to :

  • only display the file type (image/video/...)
  • add the file extension to the file type (image - jpg)

Reopened:
I can see file types of old asset but a file type of newly uploaded asset is not shown.
