 Description   

Not all of the asset API implementations actually allow upload of the content straight via Vaadin upload field and in general - editing is not possible from the global asset browser.

If an upload should be supported - it should be configured as a specialised action in e.g. JCR assets app or sub-app. In default global asset browser an image preview that consumes a link should be enough.

jalonso could you please write more specifically details on current vs. desired situations? we had troubles grooming the ticket.

Hello sdemocko, I don't even remember creating this ticket  . You could safely close it, the current implementation of S3 or bynder work well and don't need anything else.
