Data module: you can not create a bunch of 'child nodes' and then just activate the parent, like you can in the website workspace. It would be a very nice improvement if you could do that. |

The "incl. subpages" menu is active when data type allows folders. Otherwise there should not be multiple items under each other so there should be no need for activation incl. subnodes. For hierarchical types, you can configure "itemTypes" for the parent type and have those activated automatically with the parent hierarchical type so again no need for activating incl. subpages. |

Hello Jan It is the latter. I have hierarchical data types, and i didn't configure the item types for them properly to group the items that need to be activated together. What's more, I have no idea how to do that. If you could tell me, it would be a great help. regards, Ernst |

There's a little tip on the docu at http://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/modules/data.html but I guess it is not enough. |

Given the thousands of other issues we have open that are more highly requested, we won't be able to address this issue in the foreseeable future. Instead we will focus on issues with a higher impact, and more votes. |
