This would greatly help us in our project. We are starting to use the Magnolia Solr Module for different types of searches: overall website search but also very specific custom searches. We currently use a single Solr core (and hence index) for this because the Magnolia Solr Module supports a single core only where we differentiate on the 'type' field but this has limitations (e.g. we still have a single overall dictionary) so we really want to use different cores for this.
