The name of the sitedefinition is used to create Links, instead the mapped site.
The issue appears at least in the class:
info.magnolia.module.extendedtemplatingkit.CrossSiteAbsolutePathTransformer

Hi Dominik,
yes the name of the site is used in the link for cross site access instead of path since one path can be used in different site definitions, e.g. when you have one site per locale but all using same content, so the feature works as designed.
Why is this an issue? If you have a problem with this feature, please open a support ticket where you can discuss changes in configuration in order to avoid your problems.
