A blocked forum currently means no new threads can be created. However, the existing threads are not necessarily blocked (ie users can still reply to it). Maybe moderators will need a way to block all threads too ? (this could be a generic admincentral/tree feature, where multiple items in the tree can be selected and the same operation would be applied to each?) |

If a forum is blocked it should mean that no more activity is allowed. In other words, blocking a forum implies blocking all threads (automatically). |

Well, one might argue that they need a way to prevent creation of new threads while still allowing activity on existing ones. |

done by checking also the status of the forum when posting to a thread |
