 Description

${damfn.getAssetLink(content.image)} print a link to image which use asset uuid to recognise image, e.g.:

/magnoliaAuthor/dam/jcr:9de89a2c-e2bb-4992-abdd-16a80166c8bf/3.jpeg

but

${damfn.getAssetLink(content.image,"6x4")} print the link which contains path to image, e.g.:

/magnoliaAuthor/.imaging/mte/swissre/6x4/dam/test/placeholders/3.jpeg/jcr:content/3.jpeg

There is few issues with this:

1) if image is moved in dam, then old links (in emails, etc...) are not working anymore. but in additions it displays server error 500 ( instead of 404)

2) not sure why url contains "mte" and "/jcr:content/3.jpeg" plus two times name of the file itself (3.jpg), especially dot "." in the midle of url may cause some treble in javascript or even is some browsers

3) inconsistency between links without and with rendition

Since I am still working with images links, bellow I provide three screenshots which shows 3 different types of names used for assets, and on last picture you amy see that each of them is used in on different place. and not really logical I have to say. would be nice to simplify this ideally to one name
