When you try to upload a greyscaled PNG picture to magnolia, the imaging engine treats it as an RGB picture and the result is often a too bright picture. We are suspecting the java.awt.2DGraphics to be the culprit. |

Hi Kjell Arne, Can you supply us with a input image and the resulting output image? Also, the configuration you are using for the imaging module would be helpful to reproduce the problem. Cheers

portrait_not_ok.png is of a type that will be too bright when handled with imaging module. |

Given the thousands of other issues we have open that are more highly requested, we won't be able to address this issue in the foreseeable future. Instead we will focus on issues with a higher impact, and more votes. |
