 Description

Implementing EnterpriseLicencedModule Iface is not enough to ensure proper license check in EE modules.

If you implement EnterpriseLicencedModule this only means that if the license is checked the enterprise module's license is considered (you define which edtions your module belongs to, ...)

But the current system does not react (should not react). It is the modules responsability to do something:

  • packager disables some menupoints
  • sitedesigner prints a nasty message in the pages
  • others throw an exception in the start method

We can not prevent magnolia from running, because the user have to enter the license. It might be that you have a license for the module only (no EE edition).
