 Description

As editor I want to see search results sorted by last modified date (e.g. for pages).

JcrSearchResultSupplier fetches records from JCR unsorted.

This request is to introduce a setting to execute sorted result.

It is now possible to define the order. For instance:

searchResultSuppliers/pages-app.yaml

class: info.magnolia.periscope.search.jcr.JcrSearchResultSupplierDefinition
appName: pages-app
workspace: website
nodeTypes:
  - mgnl:page
fullTextSearch: true
titleProperty: title
icon: icon-webpages-app
order:
  field: mgnl:lastModified
  direction: DESC

Hello!

Thanks for integrating this proposal!

We can now get rid of our internal workaround.

Looking forward to release.
