 Description

As an author I want to be able to filter my results when I work with big data sets, so that I can more easily find the content that I am looking for

AC

  • Understand the technical feasibility of implementing Cascading Filters with Vaadin8
  • Propose alternative solutions to consider, if necessary, to break the complexity of the proposed design
  • Write follow-up tasks for the implementation of the Cascading filters
  • Filters will be applied both Globally and In-App

Global (cascading) filters:

  • Favorite (group)
  • by Apps group: admin, content, etc.

Other filters

  • by Tags (as existing)
  • by Date (last modified, as existing)
  • by Status: published, scheduled, draft, in-review
  • by Template (Pages App only )
  • by Last editor (to keep , existing)

Actions:

  • Select 1 filter only
  • Select multiple filters, in different categories
  • Clear all
  • Select all

Please note that the scope of this investigation does not consider sorting. It will be tackled in a different task
