 Description

I'd like to suggest renaming app to "Resource files" app for the following reasons:

  • It clarifies that all resources are actually files, even if they are stored in JCR. This is not about nodes, properties of the like, but file content.
  • We'll then have the possibility to clarify naming in the "Configuration overview app": a template definition will come either from a "resource file" (with e.g. "classpath origin") or from a "JCR node". This is clearer than only speaking of "resources", it pitches "files" vs. "nodes".
  • It helps to understand, emphasize and "sell" the message that the configuration visible through this app is actually "configuration by file" and not e.g. config by code or config by JCR.
  • I've noted that, during discussion, developers here more often refer to "resource files" when talking about specifics than to "resources".

Sry, for such a late notice, but I think it's the new app that has to be renamed, but the change touches the legacy app's i18n bundle.

Np, good catch.
