 Description

The following error comes up when trying to use a rest call with brackets:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid character found in the request target [/.rest/delivery/tours/v2/?@name[eq]=kyoto]. The valid characters are defined in RFC 7230 and RFC 3986

Here is an example of the rest call I used :
https://demoauthor.magnolia-cms.com/.rest/delivery/tours/v2/?@name[eq]=kyoto

You can do this with any filtered rest call with brackets on the demo.
It looks like it's the issue here : MGNLTOMCAT-6

One must configure the relaxedQueryChars="[]|" on the HTTP Connector in server.xml, this is documented here => https://docs.magnolia-cms.com/product-docs/Upgrading-to-Magnolia.html#_apache_tomcat, and should probably be mentioned in other places too. Filing a docu ticket.
