 Description

As a developer (or in the future, business user) I want to configure webhooks in Magnolia so that I can use common integration techniques to accomplish integration scenarios.

Acceptance criteria

  • Configure URL, querystring or other REST attributes for a REST call.
  • Configure which events in Magnolia trigger the REST call to be made.
  • Support for testing
  • Support for logging of webhook activities

Context

A common use case for webhooks are to trigger a build or deploy to happen when content is changed. For example to rerender a static site built with Gatsby and hosted on Netlify.

Notes

Services incubator project exists which fulfills some of the AC.

This functionality is being done as a part of the larger WEBHOOKS initiative, which has its own module.
