Just to be sure, the main problem is not the wrong banner, but that the rssaggregator is broken (because of this: https://jira.magnolia-cms.com/browse/BUILD-833).

Discovery output:

rssaggregator is work again now from 6.2.37 (our lates version).

2 actions "Inport feed now" and "Import all feed now" both work. Tested after deleting data from jcr browser and import again via rssaggregator app with either above actions

Tested with below feedListParagraph component (See how to config in https://docs.magnolia-cms.com/product-docs/6.2/Administration/Authoring-content-config/Feed-component-configuration.html)

feedList:
  id: rssaggregator:components/feedListParagraph

The only minor things that is some of feeds links are broken. We need to change or delete dead link via task handler

The underlying problem has not been solved.

F.e. Magnolia DX Core Demo Webapp comes with:

rome-1.12.0.jar
rome-fetcher-1.7.0.jar
rome-utils-1.12.0.jar

This is because the rome dependencies have been removed from Magnolia 6 BOM (as seen here: https://jira.magnolia-cms.com/browse/BUILD-833).

But the rssaggregator Module is dependant on Magnolia5 and imports dependencies from Magnolia BOM 5.6 (including old rome dependencies).

Please fix the dependencies.

Comment by Oanh Thai Hoang [ 12/Oct/23 ]

Rome dependencies is decided to add back to BOM 6.2.40 in https://jira.magnolia-cms.com/browse/BUILD-1151

And rssaggregator module will be back to worked in Mangolia version 6.2.40(Magnolia 6.2.40 will have to be released by Friday 27th October latest.)
