 Description

Not sure whether MGNLRSSAGG is the right place for this, but here it goes...

When I use the RSS URLhttp://planet.magnolia-cms.com/rss/?feedPath=/rssaggregator/MagnoliaBlogs/rss&generatorName=planet in Thunderbird, I do get multiple empty entries per day (see screenshot). I guess that's not intentional...

I also see this problem.

Looking at our logs, I see many errors of the form:

ERROR info.magnolia.module.rssaggregator.util.MagnoliaTemplate 16.10.2013 23:22:32 – Failed to map content 'data:/rssaggregator/MagnoliaBlogs/data/channel-03[dataItemNode]' using mapper 'class info.magnolia.module.rssaggregator.generator.RSSModuleFeedGenerator$FeedEntryMapper'

Not able to reproduce in the last 4.5.14-SNAPSHOT of the EE bundle, which contains RSSAggregator 1.4.4-SNAPSHOT (which is ATM equal to 1.4.3 version). But Planet is running Magnolia 4.5.11 and rssagregator 1.4.3-beta1 - Tomáš has promised to upgrade to 4.5.13/1.4.3 next week (25.-29.11.), and as there is a bunch of fixes between 1.4.3-beta1 and final 1.4.3, I suggest to wait for this upgrade and check whether the problem disappears or not.

planet.magnolia-cms.com is now with 4.5.13/1.4.3 and when tested link from description in Feedly rss reader all looks fine.

checked again and agree. when using Thunderbird with every feed update (manual or automatic) there is added new empty feed with same dateTime as time of update.
