I create a new site definition by copying the default, and adding a new mapping for my new site. — This is due to the fact that when you create a news page, it does not autogenerate a date for the news item. I dont think this is an issue. NewsOverviewModel just works with dates and picks News between given dates. I see this as correct behaviour. To ignore dates or change filtering behaviour i would create new model class and change method void filter(List<Node> itemList). |
