There have been just to many obstacle:
So we tried this and that and used finally to much time for it. You find the sequence of search replace (regex) patterns we finally used here |

I think it is more convenient if we keep the wiki table and I transform it to excel when ever I have to. There are the following benefits:

if we really need a spreadsheet, why not use google docs for it - we'd see all the changes and could actually work simultaneously on it. |

Good Point! The tricky thing is that the excel sheet contains wiki markup witch needs to be interpreted (links, coloring, ...). But sure we can solve that. I will check it out. |
