I think the question here will be to define where/how the website name is configured (possibly with i18n in mind)

Comment by Philipp Bracher [ 13/Nov/08 ]

I will make it part of the home page dialog. We will probably have to add other global values (keywords, description).

What I wonder is if the author can define a alternative (prob. shorter) title.

Comment by Christian Ringele [ 08/Dec/08 ]

The browser window title can now be set over the page properties.
Site wise the window title is set over the home page properties.
Page wise it is set on the page dialog of each page itself.

The logic is always:

  • first the manual set value is taken
  • second the page title is taken if no manual value is defined
