 Description

Philipp asked me to document this here...

I dont know whether the "Page Intro" will become standard, but here is what we have done to make it available.
(the INSM project does not use "Openers" on sections - maybe this is an important fact)

we just added the following:

[@cms.editBar dialog="stkSectionHeader" editLabel="${i18n['section.editHeader']}" moveLabel="" deleteLabel=""/]

<div id="page-intro">
    [#if content.title?has_content]<h1>${content.title?html}</h1>[/#if]
    [#if content.abstract?has_content]<p>${content.abstract?html}</p>[/#if]
</div><!-- #page-intro -->

to "templating-kit/templates/section/mainArea.ftl".

How have you overridden the mainArea template? By bootstrapping it into the templates or have you used an other approach?

Comment by Rainer Blumenthal [ 05/Mar/09 ]

We have copied the original "mainArea.ftl" in our insm-module "templates/insm2009-module/pages/section/pageIntroMainArea.ftl".
And configured the "Section" Template using our "ModuleVersionHandler".

sounds good

The page intro is now a global template which can be used by any page template.
It can be activated/deactivated within any template definition.
