Is now working. But usability wise I have concerns as it is not obvious for devs which site configuration are legal. It is probably a matter of documentation. Perhaps we need a minimal GUI (Dialog) to configure the site layout. We could for instance have a page which shows the page layout schematically and in each container you have a simple checkbox:
